the dog

The love of my life right now is my dog, Magic. I rescued her 8 years ago from the humane society in Columbus, Ohio. I saw her in the cage, wanted to meet her and when we got her out, she just kept doing circles around my legs and eventually wanted to hide behind me. I knew then that I was meant to adopt her and comfort and protect her. She was 6 months old at the time. She’s been with me through the ups and downs of the last 8 years, and brings a smile to my face everyday. I once told my parents that she may end up being a lot cheaper than visits to my shrink, ha ha! While she drives me crazy with her incessant whining, her barking, and her shedding fur, I wouldn’t trade her in for anything.
